 Opening Dates, Timetables & Fares 

The Mid-Norfolk Railway is open on select day throughout the year with a variety of events and special trains running from the beginning to end. Our calendar below shows what days the railway/tea rooms are open, the timetable that is being operated and any special event or dining trains. To join our mailing list, click here.

We are currently only running between Dereham and Thuxton with occasional journeys to the private Hardingham station.

Special events have their own timetables.

 Fares 

​

Spring Pacer special fares Dereham-Thuxton are £5 for adults and two children free with each paying adult.

​

The following fares are for standard running days shown as Blue, Green, Orange & Purple Timetable days. For every full-paying adult fare: two children accompanying may travel FREE. This does not apply on special event dates, however a family fare will be available to purchase instead. Special events may have their own special fares, check the relevant pages for further information.
