For steamy sophistication, on selected days this summer, come and join us on board our historic carriages whilst being hauled by our magnificently restored steam* engine, all while enjoying The Heart of Norfolk, for a real nostalgic treat. 

 

Relax and take in the beautiful Mid-Norfolk countryside whilst our smartly attired staff serve you with fresh finger sandwiches, delicious homemade scones and a selection of cakes all whilst sipping on a cup of tea or coffee.

The price includes all day travel on any of our trains and a reserved seat aboard our The Heart of Norfolk Afternoon Tea steam* train for a return journey from Dereham to Thuxton and back.

The Heart of Norfolk Special departs Dereham at 3:30pm and arrive back at approximately 4.30pm.

The Mid-Norfolk Railway also reserves the right to not serve alcohol to anyone it believes is below 18 years old, no refund will be made in this case. The Mid-Norfolk Railway will not tolerate any abuse or violence towards its staff members at any time.
