Do you recall when cars were considered part of the family, often with their own nicknames? For vintage motor enthusiasts, classic cars are as treasured as vinyl records are to music lovers. These iconic vehicles are the dreams we aspire to own and the collector's items lovingly maintained by their owners.​

Mark your calendars for the 2026 event on July 12th! Admission is free to view the cars on display at the Dereham station car park, with train services operating on the day as well.

It's a family-friendly spectacle that all classic car enthusiasts won't want to miss, offering a chance to get up close and personal with these remarkable machines!
Fares - On the day
Tickets for travel on our Classic Car Day can be bought on the day at Dereham or Wymondham Abbey ticket offices.
If boarding at Yaxham, Thuxton, or Kimberley Park, you can purchase tickets on the train from our Ticket Inspectors or Guards. Queues may occur during busy times.​

The Mid-Norfolk Railway also reserves the right to not serve alcohol to anyone it believes is below 18 years old, no refund will be made in this case. The Mid-Norfolk Railway will not tolerate any abuse or violence towards its staff members at any time.
